What light would you put on an AR15

I looked at the few suggestions for lights here that were given (Thank You for the suggestions) and still went back to the Surefire.
In its standard issue state the 65 lumens is really an underdog when compared to other lights.
The Surefire can be had any day of the week for under $125.00 either bidding on a brand new unit or a buy it now.
Combining this with the ability to upgrade the bulb to a 280 lumens (there are higher but the 280 will work well for what I want to do) brightflashlights.com and the known toughness of the surefire, and the IR filter, it is offering what I don't think I can beat.
Having 14 years experience with IR lighting as a Paranormal Investigator I know how valuable Infra Red is or can be.
Yes I will need to seek out a Night Vision Scope or Monocular, but those toys can come in 6 months.
There are also IR Laser sights that really offer a great option in the future.
The Term "We Own The Night" doesn't come from flashlights blazing through the darkness.
