It's been awhile since I've visited this thread. I want to say THANK-YOU to all that have served or are currently serving. NO ONE understands commitment more then you. May God Bless and keep you safe.

Many who did not serve do not understand the friendships and bonds that are formed in service. I was in the Navy '65-'69. In 2011 I went to my first ships reunion. Had a great time. Saw many who I had not seen in 42+ years! We all picked up where we left off all those years ago picking on and ribbing each other all in good fun.

I would encourage each to attend a reunion with your fellow serviceman if your unit, ship or whatever has them. You will have a lot of fun! Even my wife likes going to them because she had a good time too!

My son Aaron was in Korea 3 times most recently at Camp Humphries in Operations. He flies BH and also Hueys as he was in Germany at Hohenfels. Welcome!

Joined when the hostages were in Iran ended up right next door in Iraq. Then after 9/11 I signed up for TSA.
TSA went political and stupid, was never more happy to leave an organization so much in my life! I would spend 5 more years in the sandbox rather than another day at TSA!

Quills and Papawolf, when were you guys at Spangdahlem? We were there for 1989 to 1992. I worked in the OSI office and my wife worked for the German Bank on base. Just curious if we were there the same time and happened to meet one another... I also retired in 2000!
