You can most safely view it with your binoculars held over a white piece of paper and pointed at the Sun.

It is happening now, Tuesday June 6, 2012, at 3:30 pm PDST / 6:30 pm ADST.

It will be visible until sunset tonight in your area in the USA and the Pacific Islands and Australia.
