The Best all round handgun

For me, the beat all around has to be a 357 da/sa revolver with 4" barrel. It will do everything i ask, from cc/oc, hunting, hd, etc

Springfield xdm 40 Cal 16+1 I where it everyday everywhere and my cop friend did not know I had it on until I told and showed. The same goes with everyone else l know

In my limited experience, I have to go with the PX4 full size for all around best and the M&P Shield for it's ease of concealment. The PX4 is easily the nicest shooting gun I've ever felt. Accurate right out of the box, minimal felt recoil and darned nice looking, to boot. But, that being said, I have to agree with a number of the previous posters that what I may think is the best for me, may not be the best for everyone...Pick the one that works for you, grip, caliber, size and primary use and you'll never be sorry.

Either the Ruger full size SR9 or the PX4 full size in 9mm. Both are very nice guns that will do the job. :triniti:

I did a lot of research before buying my M&P 9mm, and I was not disappointed. 17+1 rounds. Not the easiest to conceal, but it can be done. So far, it eats everything I have fed it, without a single FTF, FTE or misfire of any kind. It is accurate, and recoil is very manageable. Zombies don't have a chance. I think the .40 S&W version might even be a little better.

To be honest, there is only one answer here. It is the handgun you favor and find dependable and shoot well. There can be no one real answer here.
