Texas Militia Drama Sells To ABC
I can remember Hollywood being in bed with Clinton. Every sitcom, every movie, every special had the same make up.
Stupid White redneck, Educated Minority as the hero and attractive liberated female as the heroin.
Today we have shows like American Guns, Sons of Guns, Swamp People etc that I truly believe the producers put on the air thinking that the metros in the large viewing areas would be appalled and disgusted or at least looked at as comedy. It backfired and they are hits.

Then after Travon Martin they come out with a comedy called The WATCH, which will undoubtedly portray" a bunch of scared gun toting white guys afraid of minorities. Real funny stuff.

Now a drama about Militia's. (Remember Clinton's total hate for militias? What ever happened to tolerance?)

Described as “Donnie Brasco set in the world of Texas militias.” It centers on Nick Keating who, after serving a third tour in Afghanistan, returns home to find his small Texas town under the control of a militia group led by his older foster brother. After being seduced by the militia’s surprisingly community-based motives, he accepts a rare invitation to join the group. Oh brother.........more white rednecks just in time for the November Election.

I can't stand American Guns. Most of it is staged anyway, the guy reeks of some kind of con artist when he 'negotiates' deals and they give the money back after filming is over. The only good part of that show was looking at the women, but I don't watch it anymore. Give me Sons Of Guns anyday.

you do realize one fo the main characters on the watch is a british black guy...and the movie is about them defending against SPACE ALIENS?! and another, do you think they could actually film and entire movie, edit, advertise, and deploy a movie in the few months after Trayvon Martin took to the headlines? The only thing they did after Trayvon Martin was change the name of the movie from "neighborhood watch" to "the watch" in hopes that it wouldnt take a hit at the theaters...

Sons of guns is an OK show. I watch it from time to time. They do some cool stuff.

I'll watch pretty much anything that isn't American Idol. Most worthless show ever, even moreso than Big Brother or Survivor.
If that snooty Brit smarted off to me the way he does some of those kids, he'd be wearing his ass for a hat!

Here's how I think it should work:

Americans get 1 vote. They can either use it on American Idol, or in the presidential election.
If this was the rule I bet we'd have a different president in office now.
