Teen Kills Elderly Man

School shootings and terrorist killings get the media attention, but it's sad we have many more Americans killing Americans just for the heck of it:

This kid was white, the victim chinese/american by his look and sound of his name. Seems like there's a couple shootings in Indianapolis a week these days :cray:

To be fair, I should say he's been accused of the murder, hasn't had his day in court yet - but the evidence pretty much points to the kid.

This is one of the few things I hadn't heard. So what do you blame this on? Bad parenting? Violent video games? Peer pressure? The kid is just a sociopath?
There seems to be a lot more of this happening in recent years.

Yes, i was 'guessing' when I said there seem to be a couple murders a week in Indianapolis lately. Yesterday when I was on my way to the range, I heard a guy talking about this on a talk show radio. He felt this was a much worse problem in America than Ebola or terrorism, and mentioned there have been 122 murders in Indianapolis so far this year. Which averages more than a couple a week. Multiply that by the number of other good size cities in the country and it adds up to a lot of senseless killing.

Churches and local communities are starting to get involved with awareness and asking what can be done about it. Hopefully we can come up with something.

Children are taught in our schools that they evolved from animals, and when they act like animals people wonder why.
