I am very involved in the OK legislature. Most folks in our state don't even know there is an open carry bill up for consideration this year!

As of August, 2009, four states that currently restrict open carry as a remnant of the post-Civil war Reconstruction era.Non-Permissive Open Carry States (Texas, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas) are considering making it again legal.

You can strike South Carolina off the list. The legislation died in committee. It was tied to a bill that would do away with permits and allow CC and OC.
