Small pistols?

My waist is a 31". I have no problem concealing a Walther PPQ or Beretta Nano using either AIWB, or a hybrid IWB holster at 4 o'clock. I typically wear cargo shorts and a T-shirt in Summer, or jeans or tactical pants or the like, and a cashmere sweater in the Winter. Concealing a firearm, two dimensions of the gun seem to be the most critical. The length of the grip, and the thickness of the slide. The barrel length doesn't generally play a big factor in concealment.

I too can carry appendix , but it's much more comfortable at the 12:00 position. Sitting with a over 3.5" barrel cases it to rise up if I move it too much to the right.

Lighten Up Francis.

I have been using a Talon Hip Pocket holster.

Totally concealed. Easy to draw from after some practice (unloaded of course). prints like a wallet.

you can certainly buy whatever gun you wish but if your hands are as large as you say I would not waste my time with a tiny gun, I have several and I don't have large hands and I all but hate to shoot them they all work flawlessly, so that is not a issue, I carry one of them for a bug but that's really it, I may shoot it once or twice a year, if you really want a 380, look at a Bersa thunder 380, its made in different configurations, and while on the small side it is not nearly as small as the LCP, TCP, OR Keltec, and it does not hurt for a bigger guy to shoot it

I have big hands, and was initially against sub-compacts. If you can get past the fact that your pinky will not be on the grip, there are several that are good. I chose the LCP (as a BUG) because of price, but with the finger grip extension it feels decent in the hand. I actually put 25-50 rounds through it a month, and would shoot more if the ammo was cheaper.

There are so many great holsters and carry guns that you have to handle some guns to see what you like. Maybe shoot a friends gun?
Go to gun shops, ranges. Look at the Ruger LCR .22 Mag Revolver. Nice snubby. Bersa Thunder .380 is a nice CC gun. there are many.

Pocket guns are for up close and personal. There fore you will most likely shoot 3 rounds or less if you need it. They are not made to be range guns. So you just shoot 200 rounds at the range in however many trips it takes. Then slip it in your pocket in case you need it. Myself, I like the Kel Tec P-32, but whichever one you get it's only for up close and personal.
:pleasantry:

Take look at the AMT Backup in .45 ACP. I carry one in a pocket holster. I too have large hands and a small frame. My choice is pocket carry, fits good in a jeans back pocket but it's too heavy for dress pants pockets. I wear bib overalls when I can and carry in the right front pocket. Not as fast as a belt holster or IWB, but because of my small size it's a better choice for concealment.
