If you don't have issues with the 'polymer frame' construction you should go for it, the slide is stainless steel of course. IMO it is a sweet gun, reliable, very smooth with a fantastic trigger. I purchased one as a backup and because it was a great deal and it quickly became my favorite everyday never leave home without it...

I have one and would recommend it without hesitation. Easy to shoot and no failures of any kind. I generally carry a 1911 but keep the 2022 in my vehicle all the times.

It is a fine weapon and fits my hand perfectly. Sig has a good line of pistols and I wish I could buy one of each but that would be the short road to divorce court!
