Last year they introduced a bill to allow House and Senate members special priviledges for CC. Basically they could carry anywhere in SC with a permit. It was shot down, I believe in committee. Well they want it again this time for all elected/appointed officials!

They are, after all, more deserving of their Constitutionally guaranteed rights than us peons. Right?

I didn't find out about this untill last night, but Monday AM I'll be lighting up the phone lines in protest. I suggest all South Carolina residents do the same. If you're unsure of who your legislators are or how to contact them, follow this link;

So you think it'd be okay for them to be more equal than us? Any attempt to pass this bill, unless it's amended to include all citizens of South Carolina, must be stopped.
