S&W40VE Mag rattle

I have 4 mags for this gun, and two have a rattle when in the gun. I've taken them apart and see nothing wrong. They don't rattle in my hand only when in the gun.

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

i have the same problem with my 3 s&w m&p mags. i look forward to seeing if someone can help. does it matter what ammo you use? mine will rattle no matter what.

Have same problem w/ HK USP. Problem is caused when pressure is exerted on rounds while in the mag. well. Not really a "problem", just an issue with seating of rounds while not in the weapon.

I have some double stack mags that do that too for my P-11, I hate it. It does not seem to bother how they function, just a pain in the butt when I try to sneak up on some "bump" in the night!:sarcastic:

You can always try loading one less round in the mag. Sometimes that will work.

OK this is so weird. I just loaded one of the rattle mags all the way up and was going to remove one round to see what happened and now the dang thing doesn't rattle at all.

It's bothersome when carrying, and more so when hunting.
