Rich ‘progressive’ bullies way into gun debate
Lerer has launched “Stop the NRA,” a manic hodgepodge of a website aggregating just about every hysterical left wing anti-gun rant out there from sources as "diverse" as Think Progress, CSGV, The Huffington Post, MSNBC and other bastions of objectivity.
“Stop The NRA is dedicated to ending gun violence in America,” the report continues, without explaining how disarming those who don’t engage in “gun violence” will accomplish that end.
“Lerer has been working on the gun issue for 12 years,” we are informed, albeit what innovations or successes he’s had in all that time remain unclear.
His motivation, assuming ego, ignorance and a fetish for telling others what they ought to be allowed to have and do aren’t explanations enough?
"I also don't like bullies," Lerer proclaims "And the NRA is a bully. And Congress needs leadership from the outside."
And Lerer, of course, along with Michael Bloomberg and a handful of select, self-anointed philosopher kings, are just the ones to provide that “outside leadership.”
The distinction between grassroots and AstroTurf could not be clearer, not could the arrogance of a rich dilettante, who evidently believes his money should trump the rights of millions of freedom-minded Americans who are working peaceably to protect, restore and advance their Constitutionally-recognized rights.
You want to “destroy the NRA,” pally?
We’re the NRA (and the GOA, SAF/CCRKBA, JPFO, NAGR, Oath Keepers, and a multitude of state Link Removed groups). And let’s not forget those of us who proudly and defiantly identify with the Three Percent.
We don’t much like bullies either.

Huffington Post co-founder and venture capitalist Ken Lerer has made it his personal mission to “destroy the NRA,” Business Insider reported yesterday, assuming “reported” is the right word to use when profiling a key investor in their corporation.
