Tonight! -- got one armadillo on the run. Used my Ruger p90 and notched sights.

Man they run as fast as a dog! I led it about 6 inches at 30 yards. Pow.

Using ball ammo never stopped it. So 45 cal ball needs a better stopping spot.

shot it in the side near the rear and it kept going and run under my neighbors shed.

It was bleeding heavy so it won't last long.

In the past couple of years, I have killed 4 of them dang things up here in Kansas. Got them with a .22 rifle, a .17 HMR rifle, a .357 mag revolver and a .38 SPL revolver, in that order. None of them were running at the time. Makes it a lot easier that way. :sarcastic:

While I am a member of PETA. From what I understand these are not that tasty.... Unless you know a way to fix em I don't know about.
Incidentally mappow, the possum I have eaten has been a tad greasy. I prefer it baked in BBQ sauce.
