Non Resident CCW

Can anyone tell me if the Non resident and resident permit look the same or do they differ in any way?

I was just about to ask the same question.

If it is the same permit for nonresident and resident, will other states that do not recognize a non resident permit from states that they have reciprocity with accept an AZ permit from a nonresident?

I would imagine it has non-resident on it somewhere. Awaiting mine to come in.

Be warned that the back of the permit says: " This permit must be presented with an official form of photo identification..."

No matter what I would present both ID and may permit. Better safe than sorry!?

So... .that right there would tell any LEO that it is a non resident permit. .

Actually if you present the Texas Permit you also show photo ID or Drivers License. The AZ resident license is identical to non resident

Just recieved my CWP from Arizona and nowhere on it does it say
Non Resident It took 29 days total from mail in to receiving and I live in New York

Nice to hear. I just mailed mine off this morning from the Soviet Socialist Republic of California.

Won't do me no good at home, but when I travel.....

I feel your Pain, New York State is no better, but like you stated when you travel, You will be good to go.

You should have your Permit in around 25-29 days. Good luck keep the Faith.
