New member - I carry a revolver

I haven't been around for a while but when I saw Revolver Carrier I couldn't help but chime in. Revolvers especially Snubs are my favorite. I carry Two Snubs daily. I have Six that I rotate. Two at a time all day every day.

You and I should hit the range some day, you sound like cool people.

~Bigdaddyyankee, thanks for the gun porn.

How do you like the bulldog I had a Pitbull .40 miss it looking at another or a sp101 .357 leaning more toward another Pitbull looms good. My latest pic of my .357

I really like the Bulldog. It's got a full size grip which I like, but is still small enough for IWB carry or even pocket carry. It handles The .44 special round without a problem. The one slight issue I've got with it is that the top of the grip is very close to the cylinder when opened, which makes using s speed loader a little tricky with it (have to release the rounds sooner) and can also cause some difficult ejecting one of the spent shells if it lines up just wrong with the grip. Neither are huge issues because if you are aware of them you can deal with them quickly and easily, but worth mentioning. The only other downside is that .44 special ammo is getting hard to find (at least here in NY, especially since I can no longer buy online).

How does the .357 shoot for you? I had looked at the Ruger LCR in .357, but the short grip just didn't fit my hand well...

Have you considered reloading your own? Also, if at all possible... I think you should leave NYS.

Starting to reload is definitely in the cards, just haven't gotten around to it yet (and I end up spending the money to start on guns instead, lol). As far as NY, I would love to get out of here, but between family and employment not in the cards quite yet. Living in upstate vs. NYC made it bearable, at least until the SAFE Act, now not so much.

It shoots great 1st time ok but while I was waiting to get back from taurus I practices on my grip more for it with my .38 and it worked out great live the gun had a ruger LCR but it's ugly same gun but taurus and it's not bad and taurus has great customer service if needed mine went back needed cylinder and varied adjustment timing off now it's great love it. Comes with 2 grips also ruger no so that's a plus also.

Good range day.....

Well, at least it's not a Glock...

Nope, not a Glock... although If the wife hadn't been with me I might have bought a Smith and Wesson 500... but she saw the price tag.

Ultimately why I will probably never get a 500, I don't hunt, and while it would be amusing to try and carry it, not really practical. While I can indulge myself from time to time with a new gun, I can't justify a $1400 purchase for a gun I might shoot every couple of weeks. But if I ever hit the lottery....
