I used to like some of their shows and have subscribed to the magazine. sent my comments to them regarding this.

"Outdoor TV producer and host Melissa Bachman has been forced off the upcoming National Geographic Channel reality series “Ultimate Survivor Alaska,” the cable channel announced on Friday. What’s the reason? Well, it’s because Melissa is a hunter."

Reality TV is so pathetic as if it isn't fully scripted it is guided but the masses sit waiting with baited breath for the next faked interaction. She is better off doing what she does now and remain a respected hunting show host.
