My new toy

I picked up this Springfield XDS last week and got a chance to shoot it for the first time earlier today. Boy, I love that trigger and I love that fiber optic front sight. Come summertime, I’m thinking I may begin carrying it instead of my G22 as an EDC. I just ordered a DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster for it. Anyone else care to share what your experience has been carrying this pistol?

I haven't handled yours but I got one of the original XD's in 357 Sig and I love it for my wilderness carry. I have an injured right hand and the XD is a much better fit than the glock or any other I have tried. The trigger and the grip safety are my favorite features but the ergonomics fit me better than others. Grandma shoots it well too.

I have a XDS in 9 MM (7+1), 40 S&W (6+1), and 45 ACP (5+1). My wife has the 9 MM with a Crimson Trace Green laser on it, I don't handle it much, it does have the older 9 round spare extended magazine Pretty accurate. My wife asked me to put Talon Rubberized grip tape on it to soften the lug patter grip/ I had the sandpaper tape on my 45 as I wanted a positive all weather grip. Both my 9 and 45 were in the early recall, I bought the 40 version a little more than a year ago to have that one extra round It is a backup. I carry a XD40 SC M2 as EDC.
I recently bought a new (old stock) XD357 from Palmetto State Armory for $330
I would like to try the new XDS9 M2.
Edit: I have two molded leather pocket holsters for them on for a Crimson Trace, the other without, The exterior side is smooth and rounded, the interior is suede and molded, all calibers fit. I also have a Crossbreed Super Tuck and a Blade-Tech Klipt IWB holsters any caliber.

I don't have an XD-S but I love my XD-M. Springfield makes some really nice pistols. They feel good, they shoot good and they are easy to clean. What more could you ask for.
