My Best Friend's Son...

...Was murdered by an Aghan "insider attack" near Kabul, Afghanistan early in the morning of Wednesday, August 26th, 2015 (yesterday). It was his 5th deployment to either Iraq or Afghanistan over the last eight to ten years (I'm not exactly sure when he enlisted. May have even been longer than 10 years). Limited details available here.

His heartbroken Dad leaves for Dover later today or tomorrow to accept the flag-draped coffin and escort his son's remains home sometime in the next several days.

A very tight and close-knit family of friends here in Alabama and Florida are devastated. May Jesus usher him into His Kingdom, and give comfort to his Dad, other family, and extended family of friends.
