Mayor Bloomburge Needs more gun conrol !!

Yes our lovely Mayor is call on washington again to ban guns or as he says illegall guns code word for all guns. here is my response to him in the ny daily news comment section. I believe what we need here in NYC is Crime Control !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well Well Mr Bloomburge Hows the gun control working for you.You are always crying about illegall Guns to which you mean you want no guns for the people of this city we are just sitting prey to all the criminials here in NYC, how about all the hair shops that have been robbed in the last few days.Where are all the cops, WHAT YOU NEED IS CRIME CONTROL,I AM WILLING TO BET NOT ONE COP WAS SHOT BY A LINCESE'S GUN OWNER . AM I RIGHT.You sir make it impossible for us law abiding citizens of nyc to get a gun.You how ever do not have crime under control ! city and states that allow its citizens to have guns, crime has decreased but lets not let that get in the way of your call for more gun control. It time for a change its time to get ride of you gun control seems thats not working and hasn't in over 20 years. Its really time for crime control peanut head

I hope you don't send that until you have someone who knows correct English grammar and spelling goes over it and cleans it up. If you send it as it is, it'll just prove to him that gun nuts are crude, illiterate fools.

Yeah, the best way to get a person to take you seriously is to misspell that person's name in the beginning of your address to him, then call him a name at the end of your address to him.

The real gun haters are the people who retard the cause by their inane acts and words. There are wise ways to accomplish something, and then there a lot of stupid ways that just aid the opposition.

Rich, I ask you, from the bottom of my heart, to attend a remedial class in English composition. As a first step, use the spell-checker on this site. I agree with CharlieK's original comment; when you make an incoherent argument, riddled with punctuation, spelling, and content errors or exaggerations, your argument is diminished and discarded. Sometimes, statements such as the one you posted are used by our opponents to support their incorrect assumption that we are all a bunch of anachronistic idiots - knuckle-draggers and open-mouthed-breathers - who can't even write a sentence.

Further-on in the "discussion", you reverted to personal attacks and insults, neither of which is appropriate on this public forum. Put down your poisoned-pen and think before you respond with negative passion. These earlier comments (hopefully) were meant only to help you to communicate coherently, not a criticism of you or your beliefs. My advice is to learn to separate the two: when someone criticizes your writing, they are not criticizing you as a person nor your beliefs, nor your passion for the subject matter. Their message was simple: your original posting was incoherent and poorly written.

Some folks here are rather direct in their responses. Thick skin and the ability to sit back, take a breath, and respond coherently, with well-reasoned arguments will serve you well in life; not only here, but in the real world where, possibly, you will be carrying a weapon. If someone disagrees with you, don't sink to a low level and scream "FU" and have a tantrum.

Rich, not everyone here is a writer. Almost all of us make mistakes in our written communications. I am a professional writer. I ghost-write books for people who are too busy or lazy to write the books themselves. I often make errors even though I have been "doing this" for a very long time. My comments and suggestions to you are sent in a spirit of support rather than demeaning criticism.

And for you other guys who are poking fun at Rich, try to look beyond his writing skill and instead, look into his heart - his passion is VERY clear in his message even if it was written poorly.

Rich, you're relatively new here. Take some time to get to know us. You may even find that you become friends with some of those very people you've lashed-out against. Taken as a whole, this is a VERY good group of people with a common cause. And I want to take a moment to welcome you to the forums. I'm glad you're here to share your passion. If you can learn to control your impulses and write a bit more clearly, you will be a voice to be reckoned-with.

I suppose that Mr. Bloomberg didn't see any violation of the law when he sent "agents" to other states in order to make straw purchases. After all it was for the "greater good." To stop those evil guns from entering his otherwise safe and hospitable city was a humanitarian goal, wasn't it? I would think that the man has someone on staff to read editorials, and report only the ones the mayor would enjoy.

Rich, I believe your two points are correct, but I've been a member of the NRA since 1965, and a life member since 1971. I have made many donations to them over the years. So where do you think my loyalty is? You really should brush up on your speculations before you make outlandish assertions about people.
