I have had a Viridian GREEN laser on my Walther P99 for some time now. It is the tac flashlight/laser combo mounted on rails. I LOVE it.. The laser quality is incredible and the flashlight is unbelievably bright!.. I would HIGHLY recommend Viridian, they began putting out green lasers long before CT. Check them out.. I just wish they had the grip activated laser for my new Shield..

I have the SR9c and the Crimson Trace LG449. This is also usable on the SR40c. Only issue I have seen is keeping POA and POI lined up exactly. After firing 50 rounds I find the sight is off slightly when I had aligned before starting. This is using a bore sight prior to shooting and rechecking with the boresight after. I have not been using it heavily and hope this stops after a few more adjustments and possibly retightening to the trigger guard. The difference at 10 meters is about an inch off so not critical in a defensive situation.

I haven't shot many rounds through my Ruger LC9 yet, but I have the Crimson Trace on it. I'll certainly do a check on it next time I practice with it.

Red gets lost in daylight and is hard to see. Green is easily viewed in daylight and has a use in all light situation.

It have a green laser on my compound bow. It is amazing how bright it is even on the brightest day. The red laser "bore" sight for my bow gets lost after 15 yards, or so it seems.

Have to agree...I can't see most people with the state of mind to switch the thing on in a SHTF situation. They're just a toy, IMO.

My CT has a pressure switch below the trigger guard that activates when you grasp the gun, and it's easy to ease up on your grip and deactivate the laser; so it's not like you have to think about activating it like you do on some lasers that I looked at.
