Just out of Sheer Curiousity: Disappearance of Forum Content Question

I've opened a ticket up with the company that makes the forum software to see if there are any tools that I can use to port those threads from the Political forums on USA Carry over to the new site.

Again, nothing has been deleted so all threads and posts are still in this database. I'm hoping there is an easy way to do this. If not I will get my developer involved to see if we can do it ourselves.

I will keep everyone updated on the status of this as I receive more info.

Well, hell yes. As I kicked off this thread, I will be the first to say, thank you, lukem. I honestly didn't think there would ever be a reply from you on this issue. So I apologize for assuming you would do nothing about this. I do still maintain that, as I said before, there should have been offered "a way for users to migrate their data to another forum (FirearmPolitics.com, or another one, or to their personal device) before this happened," but in any event, here we are, and I appreciate that you are now doing what you can from here.
