I've open carried the past two days......

I hear by open carrying, you will be targeted first and/or have your gun taken off of you...just so you know.

That has been beat to death over and over again on every forum I'm on. To date, not one person has been able to find any evidence or prove that that actually happens. Most criminals are lazy and are going to take the easy target. They're not gonna mess with an armed individual when there are way easier targets out there.

And for those few misguided souls that may choose to mess with an armed individual, let's hope they get sent to where they belong. ;)

I was going to ignore this thread but I'll add my lil input. I live in the state of pa 20mins from Philly and I have open carried in some of the hardest hoods in Philly and I would dare conceal anywhere in Philly because if those dudes think it's sweet, they'll pounce on your ass fast but when the see the gun they back off they don't want to get shot or arrested because most of them think your some kind of cop but the fact that if they tired anything my draw increases 20x...

So the theory of strolling through the ghetto open carrying is weak and I've also done it in Columbus Ohio when I'm in that state even tho I try to keep my ass in reynoldsburg where is peaceful and quiet!

its all about were you live.. i have a act235 and lots of permits.. and open carry in pa is supposed to be ok.. But try it in Philly or Bucks County.. and youre going to jail and there taking your gun.

If a philly cops see you with a gun you will be on the ground so fast.. you can cry open carry when you get out of the hospital..

So, are you saying that we should live our lives centered around what LEGAL actions police might arrest us for? Don't do XYZ, even though XYZ is perfectly legal, and a Constitutionally protected right, because the police might arrest you for XYZ? Is that really a proper reason to not do XYZ, if XYZ is what I prefer to do?

Although you may prefer XYZ, I prefer YYZ.

LOL... both of your posts here are pure *********.

I have an idea though. Maybe we should set up an little exercise. You pick the spot, anywhere in Philly or Bucks County. We can do a little OC walk around the block or down the street.

Just for the record, and just in case you happen to be yet another swaggering, drunk, and stupid Philly LEO, we can have a news team record the event for posterity. Let's see a law-abiding citizen put in the hospital, simply for OC.

What do you think Mr keyboard commando, you up for it? Here's a little hint for you: It's already been done. Bluff called.

sturner, your incorrect sir...

i oc in philly all the time and never once has my gun been touched, taken, since the guy firino exposed philly pd for their lack of knowledge, their have been trained on oc so their haven't been any problems...
