I went shooting Sunday
We set up a run and gun course to help practice for 3 gun events.
it was:
3 silhouettes off hand at 50 yds. (one shot each target)
Safe and transition from rifle to pistol.
3 silhouettes at 10 yards, after a heart pumping 40 yard dash. (one shot at each target and reload)
1 silhouette at 7 yards (hostage avoidance head shot).

Some dang good practice for transitions, reloads, and fundementals after exertion.

yes I was slower than the youngins, but my focus was on getting it right.

Howdy Festus,

Just tell the youngin's what I tell 'em, "You might out run me, but your not gonna out gun me!"

Works every time unless one on the youngin's is a sniper instructor at Camp Robinson. It's kinda hard to out gun him.
