Signs of the End of the Age

ISRAEL-God's Prophetic Timepiece.

When Israel strikes Iran in October
Exclusive: Joseph Farah reveals why Jewish state won't 'bet its life' on Obama election loss

Israel is in a political and security quandary.

Officials are convinced it’s only a matter of time before Iran uses its nuclear capability against the Jewish state, living up to the dire threats its leaders have been making for years now.
But Israeli leaders also fear they will lose the window of opportunity to deal a devastating military blow to Iran’s nuclear development if such a strike is not conducted by October of this year.

Why?

Because they believe Barack Obama has a reasonable expectation of being re-elected to the White House – and, if he is, he is likely, unconstrained by concerns about a future election, to be a political liability in the wake of such an action.

However, if the strike is made prior to the election, Obama is much more likely not to condemn Israel. It just wouldn’t be a popular political move for him. Even most Democrats in the U.S. Congress will support Israel’s right to defend itself.

But here’s the quandary – not only for Israel but for Americans who want to see Obama defeated in 2012: Will that kind of “October surprise” indeed help Obama to win the election?

Most Israeli leaders don’t want to see that. But what choice do they have when their nation’s survival is at stake?

Historically speaking, sitting presidents have a distinct political advantage during worldwide military crises. Will that be the case for Obama in the wake of a major military strike on Iran in October, just weeks or days before the vote?

On the one hand, most Israeli leaders would like to see Obama, the harshest critic of Israel ever to reside in the White House, be defeated in November. But, on the other hand, they have their own nation’s self-interest hanging in the balance.

Likewise, most Americans will have no problem with Israel defending itself, especially those most likely to oppose Obama in November, but will they be willing to change horses in the middle of an international crisis?

No one is talking about this, but because the November election is likely to be close, this “October surprise” could well provide the tipping point for Obama.

Or, are Americans so fed up with the deteriorating economy and the leadership of Obama that they will overlook instability in the world and vote their pocketbooks and good sense?

I don’t know the answer to this question, but it’s something to think about.

The likelihood of this attack is growing. The timing is nearly predictable. Yet, Americans and the U.S. media have not focused much attention on it.

The only thing that might change the equation is if Mitt Romney soars far ahead of Obama in the polls, effectively buying Israel more time to make its strike without major political fallout from the U.S.

As it stands now, the election is too close to call – and, in the minds of Israeli leaders, the strong possibility of an Obama re-election must be considered in the equation. As long as that is the case, you can take it to the bank that October is the likely time for a strike on Iran.

Personally, I am much more optimistic that Obama will be voted out of office in November. But I wouldn’t bet my life on it. And neither is Israel willing to bet its life on it.

That’s why 2012′s “October surprise” might not be so surprising at all – for those who understand the politics of the Middle East.

Not sure if this is the beginning of the end, but it does seem interesting.

Water reservoir development is something that was done to a large degree back during the last great depression, and now would be a good time to build more dams and reservoirs. Especially in the western states of Wash, Ore, and Calif. Someday water will become as precious and expensive as oil is right now.

California can feed the entire USA, with sufficient additional water resource development. The rain falls here every year, it just washes out to sea because the hippie vermin in this state and their offspring do now want any more dams to be built. They say it destroys the scenery. When you are smoking dope, scenery must be more important than water to you.
I recently watched a show called "Prophets of Doom" on the history channel. It was a discussion between scholars in finance (economy), resources, sciology, etc. about where we're heading. One comment that perked my ears is that "we don't live in an oil economy, we live in a water economy. Fresh water is needed for more than just human comsumption, it's used most heavily in development, science, procurement, agriculture and manufacturing. And we're quickly running out of it."

There could be other prophets today who have spoken with Jesus face to face, same as St Paul did, or Moses with YHVH.

You cannot say "no one in this world knows ... ."

You can only testify that you yourself do not know.

And you can only assume that everyone else is just like you.

I'll bet Outlaw knows. Why would he lie?

Apparently from your own statement you do not believe him then.
No, no, no! Absolutely wrong. I see God in everything. Everywhere. Anyone who doesn't believe need only look into the face of a child, or a puppy for that matter. For only God could create such love. I can only attest to the fact that no one has ever been able to prove they know. But that doesn't matter to me. For atheists who require proof, I ask them "do you love your children? Prove it!" They can prove they take care of them, shower them with gifts, protect them, feed them, treat them well. But only God knows what's truly in their hearts. But they can't prove they love them. I once asked an atheist "if your kids were hungry and the local church was giving sandwiches to hungry kids, would walking past that cross be so offensive that you would refuse the offering?"

I absolutely believe Outlaw. I believe that experiences will cause a non-believer to change his view. When you've touched mortality it changes you. Considering the death of a child, we were angry for a long time. Hard to understand why a small, innocent boy should be murdered so violently. Why should his killer walk free after some prison time? And then it hit me... he hasn't walked free. He must answer someday. He must stand before God and be judged. After reading the Bible again so many years later I realized that it is not my place to question him, it is my place to believe in him and to follow his word. Thus no revenge has ever been taken against this horrible killer. So many people tell me "that guy would be dead." That bothers me to hear. That would require I become the murderer. The killer. That's not what the teachings of Jesus would want. Hope you never need to understand it from this perspective.

This should never be confused with the righteous dispatch of those caught trying to cause grave harm. Big difference. Thou shalt not murder. But defend the innocent at all costs and with extreme prejudice.

IS ISRAELI STRIKE ON IRAN JUST WEEKS AWAY? Reading the latest tea leaves– Joel C. Rosenberg -

Yes, it is possible that Israeli leaders could be bluffing. Yes, it is also possible that they are simply trying to pressure the U.S. and international community to take more decisive action to neutralize the Iranian nuclear threat. But reading the latest tea leaves, I believe evidence is rapidly mounting that this could really be it — Israel could be just days or weeks away from a massive preemptive strike against Iran.

I believe there are significant changes in the way Israeli leaders are speaking about the possibility of war. One fact that has particularly caught my attention in the last 24 hours is that Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon is telling reporters that it is time for the world to admit that diplomacy has not worked, and that Iran only has “weeks” and not “months” to cease nuclear activity. To be clear: I’m still praying for the peace of Jerusalem and the epicenter every day, as we are commanded in Psalm 122:6. I’m not advocating war. I would be so glad if Israel and/or the world could find a way to neutralize Iran without violence and bloodshed. But I don’t want to see a Second Holocaust either, and that’s surely what Israel would be facing if Iran gets the Bomb. I believe that Prime Minister Netanyahu believes he is out of other options, and it’s clear to him thus far that the Obama administration is not going to act decisively to prevent Iran from getting the Bomb in time. There could be numerous detours on the journey in the days and weeks ahead. But unless something dramatic changes quickly, I believe that everyone in the corridor between Tel Aviv and Tehran are on the verge of a massive and imminent war.

Here are the latest significant developments:

•Israel’s Deputy Foreign Minister Asks Nations to Say Iran Talks Have Failed — “Asked how long the Iranians should be given to cease all nuclear activity, Mr. Ayalon said ‘weeks, and not more than that.’” (NYT)

•PM: If Iran goes nuclear, it may actually use bomb — “In a television interview last week, Netanyahu said that he sees ‘the regime of the ayatollahs declaring what it has etched on its banner – to destroy us. It is working to destroy us, and is preparing atom bombs to destroy us. As much as it is dependent on me, I will not let that happen.’”

•New intelligence reveals Iranian military nuclear program advancing faster than previously thought

•Ambassador Oren: Israel’s clock on Iran ‘ticking faster’ than Obama’s — In an interview to MSNBC, Israeli Ambassador to the U.S. Michael Oren says five months of diplomacy on the Iranian nuclear program ‘haven’t worked.’

•US didn’t foresee 9/11, officials in Jerusalem say, after White House claims it would know if Iran was about to get the bomb

•Netanyahu: Threats to home front are ‘dwarfed’ by danger of a nuclear Iran

•Israeli officials say: “We have entered the phase of strategic decisions”

•Barak: New U.S. intelligence report raises urgency over Iran’s nuclear program

•Iran’s atomic project getting harder to foresee: Barak

Concerning the issue of Syria and its chemical weapons:
Why can we not use Cruise Missiles to destroy any threat they may pose to Israel and surrounding countries to include Turkey? Is it not in the interest of the entire world and the Middle East to do so? Why would we put troops on the ground to do something we could do via our sophisticated air power?
Concerning Iran’s nuclear threat:
Why can we not use the Cruise Missile to destroy threats Iran poses to Israel? Iran has stated it will destroy the Jewish State, without question. Let us take them out before the entire area is engulfed in war. The Israelis have stated they shall not allow Iran to fully develop such a capability. They have warned us.
What other country would allow the shelling of its nation as is constantly being done to Israel?

I can't answer for our politicians or our military concerning Syria and Iran. What I do know is that Israel is God's prophetic timepiece, and God has His own plans to deal with Israel's enemies. God has made it very clear that all nations will be against Israel in the last days, none will come to Israel's defense. God says that He, Himself alone, will defend Israel against all odds in the last days, and all will know that He is God. God has said that when He regathers His people back into their land in the last days, they would never be driven out again. God's foreign policy for Israel is, "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you". I do know this much; Damascus will soon cease to exist... Isaiah 17:1.."See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruin". 17:14.."In the evening, sudden terror! Before the morning, they are gone"! As for Iran wiping Israel off the face of the earth, it'll never happen. Just how God deals with the Iranian nuclear threat is still a mystery, but it won't be a mystery for very much longer. Personally, I feel extremely blessed to be alive in this last generation to witness God's prophesies pertaining to these last days being fulfilled, even more so to be among those who will never have to experience death should the Lord not tarry. :dance3:

Obama wouldn't hesitate to throw Israel to the wolves. I'm betting that behind closed doors, he welcomes it.

I personally, am not a religious person, meaning- I do not attend a formal church, nor do I subscribe to any specific denomination.
I do however read my Bible daily, and I read it from cover to cover, when I finish, I start over again..this has gone on for a number of years.

Until recently this has been sufficient and I have always felt strong in my faith.

I can't say specifically what has caused my need to reach out and try to bring others together, because I don't know, I'm not even good at it, but I feel it's necessary.

This is by no means a personal attack on anyone or any faith, I am honestly trying to understand.

which brings my first point.
Jesus said the most important commandments are "love God with all your heart" & "love your neighbor as yourself"
The reality around us is not love your neighbor, hardly at all anyway...as we would gladly kick the hungry off food stamps and label them lazy without any true knowledge of their situation or facts of their life. Also, we readily bomb our world neighbors in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc..not only ignoring Jesus, but also God's command that we shall not kill

you see what I mean?-the beliefs & the realty do not meet.

How can we change things so that our beliefs and our reality match?, I believe that if we can accomplish this- a more stable, equitable and safer environment for ALL can be achieved.

I have other examples but I think this will make a good start

IDF does not need help.

And this thread has certainly gone off topic.

Please explain how that might be

God's FOREIGN POLICY pertaining to Israel...I Will Bless Those Who Bless You, And Curse Those Who Curse You.

"WE" would not gladly do that.

The Repubs would do that.

Remember that, in November.

The number of Americans on food stamps has grown from 31.9 million when Barack Obama took office to 46.4 million today.

We are going to run out of ink for all that money we keep printing...where does it stop? When it's gone and the food stamp pipe burns no more we will be faced with a bunch of addicts demanding their crack...err handout fix. THEN you will call them zombies. Yeah vote for their dealer...vote for their daddy. This has happened so many times before, History tells us they cried... give us a King!

God is the glue that holds together those who fear reality. Rules about god vary on where your people came from and who they may have been conquered by. The simple fact that more people have been killed in the name of god should in itself make a very poignant realization to anyone thinking about it.

The reason the thread has gone off track is because everybody is avoiding the question. Everybody knows the answer but nobody is prepared to live it.

The people who quote scriptures do so in an effort to justify their own selfish position. They indignantly proclaim to be Christians (or followers of Christ) while in reality they are and do no such thing. If they were to come across Christ today they would turn him out on his ear, thinking him to be a homeless unemployed bum. (Which, of course, is precisely what he was).

Some of you have convinced yourselves that you have accepted Jesus into your heart. You may have even gone to the extent of conning yourself into some sort of supernatural experience.

If you really want to "find" Jesus, then go out to your local neighborhood homeless bum and take him into your home. Don't concern yourselves with politics, or who is paying for food stamps, or what government is bombing which country.

None of that matters.

I have a frieend who's an attorney in NC. One day she was talking on the phone to me and commented to someone "he's here again?" A local homeless guy stops by her office all the time. She gives him money and he leaves. I asked her why. She said "I'd rather give him money then die only to find out he was Jesus." She was dead serious.

Proof once again that "The wisdom of man is foolishness to God".

We can only go by what people say and see if it matches their actions...right? Is that right?
OK, So what do you do with people who:

Say they love the Lord.
Say they love their neighbor.
They have witness to actions that back this up.

So now they are sounding the warning that we have become extremely poor stewards of what has been entrusted to us...(both spiritually and monetarily) for our limited future on this earth.

What are we to do with them, you proclaim to have some insight and wisdom.
Please give me your thoughts...I am very interested.

My question is, why would anyone having knowledge of scripture be sounding any warning about any future generations? Just what is it about , "I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until ALL of these things have happened", that Christians don't understand? (Signs of the End of the Age-Matthew 24:34- Mark 13:30 - Luke 21:32)

Yeah...I stand corrected...for future...say next month or a few years.

Signs of the End of the Age & The Last Generation

Mark 13:30.."I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until ALL of these things have happened".

The US & the UN have given until December, 2012, as a deadline demanding that Israel & the Palestinians come to an agreement to divide Jerusalem. Being that we are already 64 years into this last generation, things are going to get real exciting in the next few months. For the uneducated church that has been deprived of 1/3 of the Bible pertaining to End Times Prophecy and the Book of Revelation, God has made it crystal clear that Israel's military will be refrained from participating in this battle. God Himself will SUPERNATURALLY intervene at this appointed time in history and display to all nations of the world that He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. There will be no question that Israel is God's Prophetic Timepiece and that we are living in the final days of this The Last Generation.

The Middle East is in perfect preparation for “The War Of Gog And Magog”.

ISRAEL’S ENEMIES DESTROYED, WHY THIS EVENT IS ABOUT TO OCCUR
Joseph Chambers

RUSSIA, IRAN AND SYRIA WILL SOON BE NO MORE, TOTALLY OBLITERATED! GOD IS GOING TO BE KNOWN BY THE WORLD AND, ESPECIALLY, BY THE ENEMIES OF ISRAEL. The configuration of the nations in the Middle East will be forever changed. Russia, Iran, Syria, Sudan, Ethiopia, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, plus all their allies will no longer exist as government entities. There is the possibility that as many as twenty-five or thirty nations will be utterly destroyed. The full extent of this cataclysmic war has never been fully declared or understood. The Bible makes it clear that the nations which have determined to destroy Israel will be decimated. The Holy Spirit said,“And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalam. (Zechariah 12:9)

The War of Gog and Magog will be the first step towards making the entire earth conscious of the one and only Supreme God.This war will also open the way for the Antichrist, the final beast of a man — to step onto the stage. His face will be revealed only after the Rapture of the chosen saints.

As we await the Rapture, this war of Gog and Magog is gathering forces. The next American president will most likely be shackled with the duty of deciding whether to or not to respond to Jerusalem and Israel’s defense when the Gog and Magog multitude show their intentions. It will be one of the most telling moments of American history. Which man — President Romney or President Obama — will put our entire nation at risk by sending our warships and planes face-to-face with the largest coalition of nuclear armed troops in history? You had better answer that question before you vote. It will decide the future of America. Hint (mine), America is not even mentioned as a player, period.

But, God will decide the future of Israel. This nation’s existence in the homeland of God’s Promise Land is set in Biblical perfection. God will defend Israel with a show of divine deliverance that will never be forgotten. Every nation of the earth will tremble. The heavens will come alive with a display of destruction. Such a demonstration of power will be unleashed on this army and the homeland of every government involved that the whole earth will either respect or hate this Sovereign God. Those that hate this act of God the Father will be prepared to join the Antichrist for the last great Battle of Armageddon.

The world will be brought to the edge of total obliteration. Many commentators will be on the airwaves and internet calling the developing schemes of this massive army “the end of human existence.” Russia will threaten the nations with nuclear holocaust if anyone comes to Israel’s defense. The only words of hope will be those of Bible believers, men and women that have read God’s final words of prophetic promises. If our governmental officials do not understand what God is going to do, they will bow to the Russian warnings. Europeans will be hiding in their basements and deep government enclaves. Even the atheists will probably be praying.

Just before this massive offensive reaches the heart of Israel, God will direct the outcome. An overflowing rain will likely be the first sign of action. It will be such a flood falling on the entire Middle East that a tremor of fear will begin to develop. Pestilences will strike terror as unreal swarms of scorpions and other creatures attack the terrorist soldiers. Great bolts of lightning will interrupt communication systems and hot brimstone will fall upon the armies and throughout the nations that have joined this coalition. Missiles will literally be stopped in mid-flight and will fall on the stations of those very armies that are firing them towards Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and the cities of Israel. Hail will fall with such sizes and weights that it will destroy airborne planes or tanks that are plowing through the mud. Five of every six military personnel will be slaughtered.

The capitals and cities of every army involved will be under this deluge. The cell phones of these soldiers will begin to ring with the terror felt at home. Imagine this army as they learn that this destruction is not just on the battlefield but throughout their personal world. The soldiers will begin to turn on each other in their insane stupor, fear, and anger.

The Bible clearly promised God’s great defense of Israel.
Our God said, “And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 38:21-23)

This would be catastrophic enough if it was only happening to this great army marching towards Jerusalem. The Bible promises that their homeland will also be utterly destroyed. The words of God clearly state, “And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD.” (Ezekiel 39:6) The prophet Joel joined in with his declaration of the results of this Heavenly display. What is left of this army will march back to the ruins and destruction of their nations. (Joel 2:20)

Do not look at this great destruction as some ugly and negative event
. The Islam religion is a false and dark work of Satan to deceive and destroy. It must be judged or our God will have to repent to Noah’s world and to Sodom and Gomorrah. Out of this Divine display our Heavenly Father will begin a work of His Holy Spirit and multitudes will be converted to Jesus Christ. The emerging church and the religious deception in the church world will be seen for its error and departure from truth. After the Rapture, those that still refuse the infallible Word of God will be given reprobate minds to become the Antichrist army that will develop.

I was brought up in a devoutly Catholic home. 2 of my aunts (only one left living) are nuns, in the sisters of Mercy, and there was one uncle that is a Lacollette priest. So I was pretty well versed on religion. As I grew, I began to realize that God gave us free will, and a set of rules to guide us, then left us to decide our own fate. Well, not everyone has decided to take that advice, and have gone astray. These people have become bold, and left to their own design, will rape murder and pillage at will, and cast their darkness on all of mankind. Religion be damned, I'm not good at turning the other cheek and allowing rape murder of pillaging to go unchallenged. By laying down, we will, and in fact have, allowed evil to get a solid footing on our society, and It's digging in and building it's army while some of us wring our hands and lament in passive resistance. It's not going to work. We need enforcers. That's just how this life works. There will, as long as mortal man draws breath, be a war between good and evil. All the praying and wishing in the world will not stop or deter evil, because evil has no conscience. All we can do is to defend, or attack to lessen or deny that evil, and do so with Gods mercy in our hearts. We are not a nation of war mongers that seek to rule. We are free people that only want freedom, and peace, and will defend not only ours, but those too weak to defend themselves. I's not the good in the world that causes pain, it's the bad. Sadly, from time to time, good has to defend itself or be extinguished from the earth.
