Who in the Syracuse Ny.area sells this pistol besides Gander Mtn.......and would this gun be a good choice for conceal carry.
Thanks. :)

Tim's guns in elbridge probably has better prices. Glock 40 full size would be hard to conceal. The compact version would be a better bet.

I carry the G23 compact in 40 caliber and it conceals quite nicely. The G27 subcompact would conceal even better but might be a bit of a handful to shoot.

I have a G27 that I carry IWB, pocket, as well as in an Itac retention holster. It's a bit of a bear to carry IWB & pocket because it's a double stack. However, my Taurus TCP (.380) is noticeably harder to shoot. The G27 is not much worse than a G23. I think the double spring really improved the gen 4 over the gen 3. Rent one & try it.

Has anyone heard of this......& if so...does Ruger have a fix.

call ruger and speak to them. i had problems with my sr9c and they emailed me a shipping label so that i did not have to pay for the shipping and then did all repairs for free. i had the gun back in a week and one day.

I carry a 22 gen 4. 80 percent concealed in a Iwb. The other 20 is concealed owb. I was thinking about a 27. Rented one. My problem is I have huge hands and I had to manipulate it totally different than my 22. I'm 6'2" and 195 lbs.
