Electronic Fingerprinting in NC for FL CC

Hey y'all, great forum...

I am going to apply for the Florida CC permit and would like to do the Electronic Fingerprinting. I live in Winston Salem, North Carolina. I know that the Forsyth County Sheriff's Dept does Electronic FP but I do not know if their system will work for the FL requirements... Anyone know for sure?

Visit the Forsyth county sheriff's office and ask them if the can send the fingerprints electronically to Florida Dept. of Agriculture Licensing Division.
If not, have them make a hardcopy for you that you can send to Florida with your application.

FL will only accept e-prints from in-state.

All police depts can still do regular prints. I'm sure they'll have no problem doing it for Florida.

I am curious as to why you would bother with that? The NC permit covers more states and you don't gain any with the FL permit.

I did apply NC... when they denied it, it was the moment I discovered my identity had been stolen down in Florida (Used during an arrest in 94). I have spent the last three years fighting with Florida and it is now cleared up. My attorney in Florida has confirmed that I am now eligible so I approached NC again... they are not cooperating. Florida on the other hand should comply with the paperwork that I have. I figured I'd at least get something while I go to battle with NC.
