I just bought an ultrasonic cleaner for my new Sig Sauer P226. There are lots of great articles and videos about using an ultrasonic cleaner. Most suggest air drying, compressed air or a hair dryer. I have even seen the suggestion to use the oven.
We have an accessory for our clothes dryer that I think may be the perfect solution. It is a rack that mounts inside the dryer. It is intended for drying wet sneakers. The sneakers remain stationary on the rack while the drum spins. No more bowling ball in the dryer effect. I am thinking I can lay a towel over the rack and then lay the gun parts on the towel and then run on low heat. What do you think?
