Doomsday Preppers is not a show to educate or lift up the prepping community.
The show is made to show people that prepper's are kooks. Look at any "reality" show for that matter, you'll find that the people portrayed on the shows are far from what's realistic.

People like Smith are exactly what they are looking.

I have only watched one episode of the show. A semi local business man used his restaurant / amusement park as a bunker. I thought he was clever. He got paid to to advertise his businesses. But I heard it did back fire a bit. People became scared to go there thinking he is a nut job.

Here's one of the things wrong with America.

This guy is 26 years old. Four years ago he was convicted of being a sex offender. Eight years ago, 2005, he founded this survivalist group. He was 18 then.

Let me get this straight... four years ago he's convicted of being a sex offender... he's out and about in society though.... his charge is so heinous he must register everywhere he goes because he's considered a danger to society. I have this straight, right?

Ok, then why was he EVER allowed out of jail if he is a danger to society, let alone running around on reality shows four years later?

Also, once you've paid your debt to society why do you still not have your God given rights? Especially the right to be able to defend and protect yourself.

If it were a god given right then it could not have been taken away in the first place unless his god allowed it to be taken away.

It's a right created by our Constitution which we all have regardless of what god or gods we might believe in or what god or gods we do not believe in. We the people have created the right and we the people define that right.

Belief in God or not, Men have ruled men and controlled men since the dawn of men. We had a dam good start in this country WE call America. But degradation and corruption of power passed on by those that opposed our Constitution has been eroded to enslave , again, free men. HISTORY has again repeated it self.

first, the Declaration of Independence is not our Constitution - it was a Declaration of Independence of the colonies from what was the motherland at the time. the United States of America is based on the Constitution, not the Declaration of Independence.

Second, references to an ambiguous general "god" are nothing but pandering to the many varied beliefs held by the signers of the Declaration of Independence. Saying that rights come from an imaginary being does not make it so.

Third, the Constitution makes no reference to any god. The rights set forth therein are the result of agreement of We the People.

Fourth, I'm not the one who interjected an imaginary being into the conversation - you did. BTW - which of the 10,000 gods created in man's imagination were you referring to?

I think I'm uniquely qualified to answer this one. They let these freaks of nature out of prison because thug-hugging liberals believe you can rehabilitate bugs. But we find; I found in my own particular case, that they re-offend. The pedophile who killed our little guy was released. So of course he did it again... two six-year-olds this time. He went back to prison for 12 more years and was released again. And guess what? We caught him setting up an overnight camping trip for little boys through his church in another town... a church that never bothered to run his background. Yet he remains free. And when I beat him to within an inch of his life he tried to have me arrested and sue me. HE called lawyers from the hospital. That went nowhere... thank God. Not a single lawyer would take his case. And LE refused to take his complaint. He brought it on himself by walking up to me at a store. Imagine getting away with this crime, believing you've paid your debt and then making harassing comment to the victims family. I don't know how others feel, but when you do something like that you're supposed to get your ass beat. The only thing that saved him that day was a construction crew who pulled me off him before I could finish. Now, years later, I thank God for them.

People say he paid his debt to society. He didn't owe society a thing. He owes my wife. He owes Brian his life; and that he can never repay. So I don't believe in the justice system. Good laws don't come from a legislature. Protection doesn't come from the police. Justice doesn't come from the courts. And I'll never serve on a jury. They can all go ---- themselves. They've screwed this country up so badly that it can't be fixed. And it's only getting worse every time we see a progressive elected to office.

So, according to the questions you are asking and the fact that you do not believe in any God, then the words in the Declaration which sets up the Bill of Rights by explaining to us where our rights come from, is meaningless to you? Since in the Declaration of Independence it clearly states that our unalienable rights; including but not limited to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness; come from our Creator, I would have to assume that you do not agree that you have any rights?

And if our rights, as defined in the Declaration of Independence and written down in the Bill of Rights are defined as being endowed by our Creator, from whom do you think our rights came from? I surely hope you don't believe they come from man... because if they do, then they are not unalienable from our governmental leaders. They are just privileges at that point.

You still have the right to defend yourself as a felon.
You just can't use a firearm in defending yourself
There isn't enough jail space to lock up all molesters. Look up how many live in your area on your states offender registry website
Society isn't going to support killing all of them as an option, so that means they'll be out and about amongst us sooner or later......
 
Everything is in one way or another a "religious Thing" In the is world there is good and evil, right and wrong. God is the Great Judge of all. He makes the rules. You might say he is Judge, Jury and executioner. All law is based on His teachings in nearly every country in the world. From an early age people are given a sense of right and wrong, based on teaching handed down through the ages. These are the basis for a surviving civilization. Nowadays we have a bunch called Liberal Progressives/Socialists. They think they have a better idea that will bring about a Utopia Society. Well may I remind you that all the attempts in the past at Socialism has ended in war and bloodshed. None have ever succeeded. The problem is these Liberal Progressive Socialist Atheists think they are smarter that the rest of society. What a bunch of airbag morons. If they had the ability to read history, they would know they are not going to survive. There is only one way that civilization will survive. That is by following Gods Laws. He made us, He can destroy us. Your choice?
 
Doomsday Preppers has been giving people interested in survival a bad name for a while now. I've seen more stupidity on that show than I can tolerate, and no longer bother with it. It started off much better then it is today.
