What is the difference between this and a regular CWP application?

The only thing I can figure is they are carrying their firearm due to employment requirements and it may reflect it on the permit. Just guessing here! Private Investigations & Security Licenses / Registrations Link Removed

It's a short term issue of a CWP. Your SC County Sheriff can issue also on a short term basis not to exceed 1 year I believe.
