Well, it is getting down right scary as far as I am concerned. Watching Glenn Beck M-F is certainly interesting. In fact watching Fox News reporting a lot of happenings not being reported on ABC, NBC, CBS, et al underlines the fact that these people are not reporting a lot of stuff. The health bill looks to be a death sentence for older people with health problems (like me ). Baby boomers look out, your representative should read the bill.

I brought this up with a Liberal friend and he said well it is written in legal jargon so he would not understand it anyway so why try.

I'm pretty sure no one has read what they've been voting for in the last 100 years, the only real benefit to be gained is to be able to throw all of this back in Obama's face when he complained while campaigning about reform, transparency and not trying to shove legislation through the system.

Conyers and his wife are total ^&itbags too, Michigan has reached rock bottom and started digging with those two.

Trusting most of these politicians to do what is right and best for America is like asking a drunk to be the designated driver for your family vacation!

I strongly urge you friends to educate your family, friends, co-workers… everyone you know! We have got to awake those around us who are simply trusting Washington to do what is right for America. And, for those states that keep allowing designating drunks to drive, PLEASE FIRE these elected officials at the very next opportunity you have to do so!!

In the meantime, write, email and call your state reps and let them know how you feel on issues. Let your voice be heard in Washington and around your state! The minority bent on remaking America certainly does let their voices be heard! We’ve got to be quick to stand up and speak out aginst policies bad for America!

Americans (that care about the future of America) need to vote change into office, beginning next year.

All these politicians operating on their own agendas, completely and continually disregarding and dismissing the voice of the people, NEED TO BE VOTED OUT. (If not impeached sooner.)

The current regime leader needs to lose his strength in numbers, so he cannot run roughshod over the People's will and rights.

Our present Gov't is completely out of control, and operates without retraint or concern for the People who elected them. To me, the scariest aspect is that so many citizens actually think this present status is fine and acceptable. They LIKE bHo. They like Sotomayor. They like letting the Gov't do all the thinking and spending. Lord willing, they will be the minority as the lights come on and bHo's behavior is clearly exposed for even his supporters to see the truth behind the smile and telepromptor.

The rest of us have to vote liberty and accountabilty and even usher in changes within "our ranks." Too many Republicans are politicians through and through, and have sold out the People who voted for their representation. Those sell-outs should be replaced as quickly as the liberal socialist elitists. I'm not Red OR Blue, but in favor of Red, White & Blue, and what's best for this republic. Anymore, titles and perceived ties to one political party or another means next to nothing anyway. Voting records are true ID.

Hope and change (in politics anyway) begins when a true and unmistakable "overwhelming majority" of voters overwhelms the ballot box, and resumes control of the electoral process and this representative Gov't.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't each senator and representative employ staff members to do things like reading bills for them? Obviously between floor debates, committee duties, and all the other obligations members of Congress have, it would be impossible to read most bills, but if they don't even have their staff members do it, then just what the heck are they doing over there in Washington, D.C.?

if they don't have time to read whatever they vote on, they need to give the taxpayers all the money they have recived since being elected. seeing as how they did nothing to earn it,out the door,no health care for life, no retirement period!!!
