For me it would be scary as hell as I carry a Glock 29 and I'd be dropping it often or worried I'd blow a cheek off of my narrow buttocks due to no safety...

I do carry with an IWB holster and wear it every moment that I'm dressed without issue

I carry a full size M&P 40 only in an OWB Blackhawk Sepra Holster.

I just bought a black hawk holster much like that one. I can't imagine how that would work for conceal carry. But then again none of my cloths are that baggy.

I have been working in Orthopedic Trauma for about 8 years. We have someone come in every so often that has been shot accidentally. Most of the time they have shot themselves, but sometimes they hit someone else. 100% of the time the gun was not in a holster, and I can guarantee you that none of them expected to have it happen. I have seen where they have gone off in peoples pants, and when people have reached for them in a purse or glove compartment etc. A loaded gun not in a holster is a VERY bad idea.

I think most us us that have carried anytime at all have had an incident where we thought "dang that was stupid". The human factor always plays a part. It only takes one second for a careless act to change your life forever. Not to mention that 25,000 trip, slip, and fall accidents requiring medical attention occur daily in the US. Losing retention of a firearm is inevitable with Mexican carry.

I just don't see the sense in sticking a gun into your pants unless it's about a death wish, wanting to protect the rest of humanity from your stupidity polluting the gene pool or actively trying to give us gun carriers a bad rep. Cause sooner or later the **** will hit the fan or in this case your gun the ground which if nothing else happens is actually the best case scenario for this nonsense.

Does anyone conceal carry with out a holster? Like in the small of your back. I find this the most comfortable for situations where I am just running out and do not plan on sitting down. With conceal carry I struggle to find a spot I like to carry my guns where it is comfortable for all occasions.

I carry my 1911 5" at 4 o'clock all the time. I think you just need 1 of 2 things... a better or more comfortable holster or more time with the ones you have. I don't even feel it anymore unless its not on me. After it becomes a part of getting dressed in the morning for a while you will find it is only uncomfortable when absent.

Have you tried some of the retention shirts, ie 5-11? I have a dress shirt that holds a sig P238 quite well. The may some T-Shirts that you can wear under a normal shirt that would hold well too.
