Chris Borner represents the LAPD?

There was a commenter on CNN commenting that the crazed cop killer Chris Dorner doesn't represent the LAPD. Why not? A crazed madman that shoot kids at school supposedly represents responsible gun owners like me. A crazed gunman that kills innocent people in a theatre supposedly represents responsible gun owners like me. Because of their actions I am supposed to punished?

It's crazy how they spin this stuff. I can't believe all the support this guy is getting after killing innocent people, and the MSM seems to be treating it like he's the victim. Maybe he was at first, I don't know all the facts on his being fired or dishonorable discharge, but he crossed the line and none of that matters anymore. He's no different than any other criminal out there and needs to be locked up or put down.
I do know that if I lived in that area i'd park my truck and rent a car, LAPD is shooting first and asking questions later. Which brings me to something else that pisses me off. The anti's say only police should have guns because of how well trained they are, did anyone see how many shell casing markers where around the girls truck they shot up and hit one girl once and the other twice, just like New York where more bystanders got hit than the suspect in front of the Empire state building.

Don't know a lot about him or the situation either. Was watching slimeball media yesterday at work and I did have to laugh. They kept ranting about his attitude problems and violent outbursts BEFORE he was a cop. Schools suspensions and what not. So much for screening law enforcement candidates... or maybe they just fabricated his past like they have fabricated other things... You know, like the AR that wasn't at Sandy Hook.

Wouldn't it be nice to get the truth and actual facts when these things happen, my bulls**t sifter is worn and in need of repairs!

I think that the cops who shot the two women delivering newspapers are FAR more representative of the LAPD than Dorner.

Honestly i don't think any of these "bad apples" represent the department as a whole, i'm sure the majority of LAPD officers are honest guys working for a living and do the right thing to the best of their ability. To lump them all together is no different than what the anti-gunners are doing with the James Holmes and Adam Lanzas of the world and us law abiding gun owners. We're better than that.
(for future reference if i talk about a few bad apples in any group, that excludes lawyers and politicians, there's are few good apples among these two groups, and that's probably stretching it a little)

My wife and I regularly train with 3 guys from the LAPD. They strongly believe in civilian gun rights. You're stereotyping if you think they are all that way.

I went to the Huffington Post to read what the extreme left is saying. Always good to understand the enemy. At the Huff Post, Dorner is regarded as a hero by people in the comment section. The tone, the statements, the absolute insanity found in thousands of posts makes me truly afraid. I had no idea the left was so extreme, so violent and disturbed. They blame the NRA, the LAPD, gun nuts, biggots, guns, gun laws and the innocent for his crimes. They assign no responsibility to Dorner for his own actions. They believe the slaughter of innocent persons is OK in this situation because Dorner alleged he was a victim of racism by cops. Many posters feel that when someone feels victimized they have the right to do what Dorner did. Thus the argument would then apply to a disgruntled postal worker or school shooter. What the hell is wrong with this country?

ONE cop shooting the wrong person, ONCE in a WILDLY reckless act is an anomaly. Doing it TWICE, with MULTIPLE cops is evidence of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE.

It seems to me that some members of the LAPD view the public as merely expendable, reactive targets.

You DID go to the "HUFFINGTON POST". What did you EXPECT to find there?

If you went to the "Stormfront" website, would you really be surprised by the racism and anti-Semitism?

Personally, I have no kind words for Dorner OR the LAPD.

My sympathies like strictly with the victims shot by Dorner and the LAPD.

Wow, you really feel that some members of the LAPD view the public as reactive targets? Really? Thats hard to believe.

All a black person has to do is scream racism and they can get away with anything they want it seems. If a white person did this and called it racism they would be the laughing stock of America overnight. Not really attempting to stir the pot. Just a (valid) observation.

What do those two Hispanic women the LAPD tried to kill need to scream in order to get justice?

NOTHING. They're not going to GET justice, and neither will the White guy they tried to kill.

I wasn't prepared or that level of violence and hate. These anti-gun people rant about gun control with such disturbing statements that they wouldn't be able to get a gun under their own rules.

I've been seeing this since I first went online on BBSes and in FidoNet in 1986. What was REALLY surprising was the level of racism, anti-Semitism and misogyny and homophobia they routinely express. And they almost ALWAYS define themselves as "liberal". About as liberal as a torchlight parade and book burning in Munich, circa 1938.
