I have owned an LCR 22 for a few years now. It holds 8 rounds, and mine works fine with CCI Velocitors other than being a little hard to eject. The new ones have a much improved White inlay on the front sight. Much easier to see than Black on Black. I swapped my front sight for the new model one. Mine shoots pretty well for a 2" snub. The Trigger Pull is not bad at all for a revolver.

I have a Walther PPK/S in .22 that shoots very nicely and not very expensive. It's not my carry gun, just a plinker, but as has been said, .22s have been successful at stopping many a bad guy. The Israeli Mossad uses .22 for up close and personal work.

Ruger LCR 9mm revolver, kicks more than a 22lr but less than a .380. Lightweight, easy pocket carry, no racking, no jams, accurate, with an extremely smooth trigger.
