My wife sent in her paperwork on January 29 and received her license the last week in April.

Well today marks day 120 for myself, my wife and 4 others in the class, guess we will see what happens!

Well 120 Day mark came and went, and........NO CHCL! I called and the lady just said ".....I don't know, ill have to check on it, you have been here since first of January" now we are all still waiting impatiently!!

jrb, it is day 77 for me and the website still says pending background check. Will probably take the entire 120 days and possibly more from what has been posted. I did see where some have received theirs in 85 days but I wouldn't count on it.

I am curious what happens at day 121? And still no one knows what they count as "day zero". I think Day Zero is a moving target. I am curious to know what their process is and how it is laid out. Curious about how/if it could be more efficient outside of having additional personnel.

We had to go to ASP headquarters to redo fingerprints for my wife and they said they had them stacked up three feet high. That was a month ago.

Day 123, and I was told to give them some more time, it was a matter of them finding my app and then matching up the background results. She said there was about 1000 in front of me, so who knows. Been showing "pending background" since January 29th

Needless to say, they do NOT give you a "warm and fuzzy" when you call either! I did not call until after 120 days as they specify, and when I called after 120 days, you would think I have been hounding them since February. Oh well, what am I gonna do but just wait like everyone else I guess, cause they know it, and they know that I know that they know it!! JUST WAIT!! Starting to get frustrated, been very patient to this point, but when you hear of others that haven't waited as long, and its not just me, there were 5 others in the class that are still waiting as well, it gets frustrating. Sorry for the rant, and thanks for listening!!

Yes it would be. Well at least we do have a place to come whine about how long it's taking and it is interesting talking to everyone.

I'm in the same boat as ARHolt. I'm at day 126 still shows background check pending. Such a cruel waiting game.

I herd they have hired some temps to help out but don't know how accurate that is

I hope they have some help. Quality help.I would hate for just anyone to know all of my personal info.

My wife and I applied online on the 19th of January and they received our fingerprints and certificates on the 24th ( cert mail). We both got our permits in the mail yesterday. They beat the 120 days by a couple of weeks in our case.
