This has been a tough lesson.
On Valentines Day my wife was struck in her van while returning to work from lunch.
We are in Florida, The driver of the other car from NY. He is insured by Utica National Insurance.
He will not give a statement to his insurance company so, his insurance company, like All insurance companies, has the right to deny the claim.
The other driver was sighted and my wife was cleared of any involvement in making the accident happen.
we are at day #22 and we have no rental car, no compensation for anything. My wife was hospitalized and should return to work this coming Monday.
J. Douglas Robins is the CEO and Chairman of the board for Utica National. I have his Twitter account and his profile reads like a good guy.
I Just need to figure out how to get some action from Utica National.
The Driver who was sighted has a large farm in Mohawk New York, and a winter home here in Florida.
My wife was hospitalized, the car/van is totaled and her personal injury attorney says there is no recourse if they do not come forward to resolve this claim.
I am so frustrated. I cannot believe this can happen, especially when the man has insurance. What the heck.
