CCW Safe defends those who carry concealed against criminal, civil and administrative actions.

Does anyone know about these guys? For $99 they are supposed to help you out in a legal/courtroom sense, if you're ever involved in a 'use of force' situation.

The idea is intriguing, but is this a legit service? ...or are they just preying on CCW holders with a promise of services that they don't need?

Chances of winning the lottery are better than having to use deadly force. If they can scare all CCW holders into buying legal insurance, there's a lot of money to be made.

Maybe, they should sell financial advice to potential lottery winners.

Do the math for yourself and see if this "insurance" is something you want. It's $100 per year. Consider your age and how long you will be carrying a firearm. If you are 25, and you plan on carrying for the next 50 years, that's $5000 (as long as the price doesn't go up) and chances are you won't be in a situation that you will have to draw and fire.

I'd rather pocket the $100 per year and IF the time should arise that I need a lawyer, use the money I've saved as a retainer for a lawyer that I chose and have researched.

Personally, my feelings are that everyone who owns a firearm, if money is not a burden, should have a lawyer on retainer and their number on speed dial and if you are married, the spouse should be well aware of this too.
