Born in Illinois, grew up in Montana, joined the Air Force and saw the world, met my (future) wife in Kansas, moved to Kansas when I got out of the Air Farce in '79. In a bad vehicle accident a few years ago, I was already medically disabled and my wife became so in the accident, settled down in Ellsworth to be close to our daughter, who is a RN.
