Versacarry LCRX

I'm heading to Vegas soon. I really want to take my LCRX instead of my Guardian .32 but I don't have an IWB holster. My local gun shop has several options, but the one I'm most interested in is the Versacarry.

I've watched a few reviews and some people love them, while others think they are insane.

So - opinions. If you have one, do you wear an undershirt? I'm a little worried about sweat - especially in Vegas where it's going to be crazy hot. If I wear an undershirt, that's going to be hot. The grip of the LCRX is a bit sticky, so I'm worried about my shirt riding up too. So many things. Opinions?

Apart from the fact that VersaCarry falls under the category of “Stupid Carry,” I see a number of other problems in your post. You seem to be ill-prepared. You plan to carry a firearm for which you don't even have a holster yet. Do you plan on training and practicing with the firearm and the new holster at all?

Remember, if you shoot yourself, it still counts.

I have an OWB holster and a pocket holster, but because it has an exposed hammer, it's not great for pocket carry. I'll watch the videos, but it looks, by the title, like it's a bad idea.

I use an Alien Gear Tuck 3.0 with my Taurus 9mm. It is very comfortable and I forget I am wearing it. The most important thing after you buy a holster is to practice using it.

Get a Remora. You can us it IWB or pocket.

To give you some feedback on this, I would not wear an undershirt with any so-called holster (i.e., deadly contraption) that doesn't cover the trigger guard. That is a recipe for disaster.

Why not carry your firearm while on travel in the same way you carry it while at home?

OK. I am not sure how that solved your problem, as this thread was about not having a holster for your LCRX. Now you do not have a holster for your XDs!?

Anyway, make sure you have a good holster and a spare magazine, and you train and practice with your carry setup. Too many times I see people at the range bragging about their handgun's features and shooting skills, but then having a hard time drawing the firearm, dealing with manual safeties and magazine changes, and hitting the intended target under real-life stress situations during a defensive pistol class. Too many people focus on equipment and not on training and practice. Only during training and practice you actually figure out what works for you and what doesn't.

Had a versa carry for my .380 and gave it away. Get a Remora Tuckable they are great. :victory:
