Family defends itself from domestic abuser, The Daily Astorian, Astoria, Ore. 05/08/13

Posted on May 10, 2013

A woman, her two teenage daughters and a 19-year-old man were at home in Warrenton, Ore. when the woman’s estranged husband, who has a criminal history of domestic violence, forced his way inside the home while carrying a weapon. The residents armed themselves and fled to a bedroom, locked themselves inside and called 911. Once arriving on scene, the police assumed tactical positions, but the husband, already inside, was unfazed and continued his attack by breaking through the bedroom door. After breaching the door, the intruder was met by defensive gunfire and killed. (The Daily Astorian, Astoria, Ore. 05/08/13)

The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun. Feel sorry for the family but they won't be bothered by him any more.

Id like to see Gun Control advocates destroy this one, the Cops were RIGHT OUT SIDE, and would not have saved this family, thank god there was a good guy with a gun in there. Glad the family is OK.

It doesn't say, but I wonder if there was a restraining order too.

I actually looked up the original article and she did in fact have a restraining order on him. A month before the shooting he kidnapped her, fractured her skull, cracked three ribs and was then released from jail due to overcrowding. Hell of a justice system ain't it? The shotgun brought her more justice than the courts ever did.

Wow! Calling 911 really helped that time. At least they were there to pick up the body.
Another example of the Police having no duty to protect. They waited outside till the homes residents solved the problem.

So again it proved that a law against something didn't prevent that something. Let's see the Libs spin that.

This is what I like about this forum and it's members. We can get together and get the WHOLE story! Great work guys!!

I wonder what was the weapon the man was carrying? It's not specific. If it were a gun the media would be all over that and they would probably say he was a member of some patriotic group and that he got the gun through the "gunshow loop hole".
