The Best all round handgun

Ive upped the anty from a pt 22 to a Llama Especial as well,just 32 acp for ccw,dont need 17 rds have a 45 thats kept as a nightstand gun.

Sellier and Belliot 60 grain jhp-205 fpe real steel can handle 6 1/4 x 41/2 x 1 7 + 1 in pipe

Without a doubt the Stoeger Cougar -- one smooth operating, nice shooting gun which olds 13 or 15 rounds.

Also The Ruger SR9 or SR9c which hold either 10 or 17 rounds.

These guns are very worthy of protecting you.

Snce I don't have anything but .45's, it will be my Taurus 24/7 OSS .45. Very accurate and always goes boom, fits the hand like a glove.

After reading many many reviews, I chose the S&W SD9VE 9mm. It is larger and heavier than my Bersa Thunder .380, but with Hornady Critical Defense ammo in the S&W, I feel this is a great gun for both home and concealed carry. Went to the range the other day and went thru 150 break in rounds without a single problem. Very good defense weapon and very accurate.

I didn't read them all .... but the best ALL PURPOSE gun...... for any occassion and any use .... Ruger GP100 4 " barrel .357.

radcont5164 -- glad you are happy with your SD9VE but take a look at the Ruger P95 9mm it is a better gun for about the same price. Just a thought.

Just 1 that has to fit any requirement?.... I'd say a Glock 29SF...because there's no M&P 10mm compact haha.

I voted with my wallet and got a CZ 97B 45ACP to take the place of my Browning High-Power 9mm.

One of those two is probably the best, depending on if you are more comfortable firing a 9mm or a 45ACP.

For me, the developmental evolution started with the S&W model 39, which is a single stack double-and-single action 9mm, to the Browning High-Power, which is a double stack double-and-single action 9mm, to the CZ which is a double stack double-and-single action 45ACP.

Although if you ask a LEO he/she will probably say the Glock 17 is the best. It all depends on what handgun you are the most proficient with, and this varies by person.

If I had to choose only one sidearm for survival it would probably be the Glock 27.

Why?

Numerous reasons;
Plentiful ammo, very reliable, rugged, concealable, dependable, accurate, high capacity magazine compatible, and most important of all "It's a Glock".

The Hi-Power is not, nor has it EVER been double action in any way shape form or fashion from 1935 when the first ones were adopted for military service to today.

If it ever hit the rotating osilator, I would have to say G-19 or G-23, plenty of rds, and even if wet, muddy, never cleaned, or all of the above at once, they still fire,

Well i have two that i like, i carry my Beretta 85 Cheetah with my own loads, 95gr. XTP's. and i just bought a CZ 83 this past weekend that i feel i am going to like, i have to take it out and get some rounds through it, but it really has a nice feel to it.

No votes for the FN 5.7 or the 10mm cartrige? I am suprised. I do not speak Glock so one of those numbers might be thier 10mm offering. I had a Paraordinance 1911a1 style with the double stack magazine in 10mm. If the frame had not cracked, I would vote for it.
