western 351 S.L.R. ammo

i have a box of western 351 S.L.R. ammo. the box is not in the best shape as i belive this ammo is quite old and may be rare as i have not heard of it before. the ammo is in reasonably good condition and have kept them in a ziplock bag. anyone with any info would be helpfull. thanks

The boxes of 351's here often sell for $40 to $75 per box. Lots of people still shoot and hunt with 351's. The age and condition of the box itself makes a big difference in the price. Like other calibers sometimes the empty box is worth more than the ammo. The Winchester self-loaders had an interesting history and I think look cool. Not a pactical gun but sure is a piece of Winchester history. They made 32 , 35 , 351 , and 401 sizes.

the box is all there but i thought it was in realy bad shape till i read they had clear celifane tape on them.
