West Virginia reciprocity with New Mexico

Heads up to all NM and WV CHL holders. I just received notification from the NRA daily update that West Virginia and New Mexico have reached a reciprocity agreement effective December 1, 2011. However, WV Attorney General's office has no mention of an agreement yet. Waiting to see if it becomes official in the next few days from the AGO.

I grew up in WV...so I'm glad to hear this little piece of good news.

We've come a long way from the old days when your permit was only good in WV. In the good old days you had to appear before a circuit judge and file a civil action to get your permit. We all owe a lot to folks like Jim Mullins and WVCDL for our progress.

We all need to keep hammering at every state legislature to have universal recognition.

Been through MA. My biggest regret was that I was so pressed for time and could not see the Springfield Armory. Beautiful drive along I-90.
