I've actually been arrested for it. They used to charge you with disorderly conduct and/or disturbing the peace in Wisconsin. Has Vermont's AG issued a legal memorandum with an actual legal opinion on open carry? Ours did in 2009 and it has had a huuuge effect on illegal stops.

If there was a way to get my guns back...
