Why a 380 when you can have more such as the 938 which is just slightly larger, a Kimber Solo, Kahr MK9/40 or an XDs 45 for that matter. By the way Colt is reviving their Mustang Pocketlite 380 if anyone is interested.
For me, when I was looking for a summer time carry (before I was an open carrier), I tried all kinds of sub compact/micro firearms. When it comes to a firearm this small, every 0.1" and 0.1 oz makes a big difference. I have yet to find a 9mm that would be comfortable for me. I am very interested in the p938 and XDs...but just reading the dimensions and weight I all ready have a feeling they won't work for me. Especially now that I open carry I plan on getting a full size .45

I was never a big fan of the 380 or 9 but now with advancements in bullet tech and power levels I am giving the 9 a second look as a backup to my other cc arms or main carry for certain occasions.
How do you feel about open carry? Aren't you worried someone may try and separate you from it at some point? I think CC is the way to go because criminals have no idea you are armed until it's too late.
Happy hunting on your 45 quest, there are so many choices
