“The Shot Heard Round the World.” Patriots in Concord, N.Y., will fire a symbolic shot at noon, Jan. 11, 2014, to protest the first anniversary of the NYS Secure Ammunition Firearms Enforcement Act, or NY S.A.F.E Act erroneously referred to in the media as the Safe Act. passed in the dark of night a year ago. (it does nothing to improve anyone's safety.)
The Springville Field and Stream Club is urging gun owners, throughout New York state, to fire their symbolic shot or shots at noon, too. All gun owners, hunters and shooters are being asked to fire in a legal, safe manner.
Gun Clubs are asked to organize a shoot at their ranges. Again shoot only in a safe and legal manner.
Hunters at their camps.
Again anywhere where it is legal and safe.
