What a joke..I guess we should ban the outdoor channel, military channel, history channel, and every action movie in history because apparently showing guns on TV is inappropriate and offensive to some people. And I guess by "getting in the way of meaningful progress", he means "stopping us from imposing our agenda at will." "How dare the NRA get in the way of me telling the people what's 'best' for them."

Exactly! My wife watches fashion shows. There's always one girly-guy pinning a dress. One day I came into the family room. TV was on and no one in the room. There was a guy running around in a wedding dress giggling as another one chased him. I hope his dad is proud.
