Resident of PA military in TX. Which one???

Hello, I have been wandering where i should get my permit to conceal carry. I am in the military in Texas, but i am from PA. They both recognize the others CHL. But the pa permit is alot cheaper. Texas rounds about $200. Any suggestions or input please let me know.

You should get your permit from your home of record state. Many states have made it easier and cheaper for active duty military residents recently.

Thanks, Will deffinately be cheaper as Pa is 18 for civillians.

Texas charges no Link Removed for a CHL if the applicant is on active duty or was discharged within the last year.

Dallas concealed carry gives a discount to active duty military it will cost $25 for the course and $20 for range time $9.95 for finger printing and $0 for the premit. much cheaper than most states.

If you are in the San Antonio area you might check with Josh at Lone Star Handgun. I know he works with a lot of active military.
