Question About Concealed Carry Permit!

Hello,

I am currently a Louisiana resident with a Louisiana Concealed Carry Permit, but I will be moving to Virginia in two weeks. By law, I will have to get a Virginia driver's license within 60 days of moving there.

My Question:
Will getting a Virginia driver's license void my Louisiana carry permit? Does your driver's license have to match your carry permit state?

Is your Louisiana Concealed Carry Permit still valid once you are not a resident of Louisiana anymore?

when a permittee ceases to reside within the state the permit becomes invalid and must be returned to the Department of Public Safety. If you return to the state, you must reapply for a permit.
