Proposed Wisconsin Bill Outlaws 'Assault Weapons' And High Capacity Magazines

AB222 was introduced in the Wisconsin assembly May 29 titled 'Ban on assault weapons and large-capacity magazines and providing a penalty'. This bill would ban any rifle that meets one of many features. The bill also includes a ban on any magazine with a capacity of more than 7 rounds.

I'll need to peruse that AB more closely as it seems unlikely to limit rounds to 7 when so many semi-auto handguns come with 10-round mags as standard issue.

Bad news. The bill is little different from the fiasco in NY, excepting that they exempt police & military from the restrictions. Folks, you need to contact your state representative and be sure they hear your voice.
