Prairie State Police State

Excellent article on NRO by Kevin D. Williamson. Reveals once again that the heart of progressive ideology and the welfare state is profoundly totalitarian. Why not pass a law that says you're not allowed to look at police?

Prairie State Police State | National Review Online

The police are public servants, not private servants. Therefore they have no expectation of privacy in there job or duties, no matter what. If a citizen decides to record the police while performing there duties, they are breaking no laws what so ever. The police are not above the law, even though some think they are. Recording them goes a long way in keeping them honest.
